Follow these straightforward steps to set up permissions and get the most out of EasyPaste on macOS.

Install EasyPaste.app

Download the official DMG installer, open it, and drag EasyPaste.app directly into your macOS Applications folder. Double click to launch.

Grant Accessibility Permission

Open System Settings → Privacy & Security → Accessibility. Find EasyPaste in the list and toggle the switch to ON. This allows EasyPaste to simulate direct keyboard pasting into your active applications.

Configure Preferences & Shortcuts

Click the EasyPaste icon in the menu bar or press ⌘ + , to open Preferences. You can configure launch on startup, customize hotkeys, and manage your history limits.

EasyPaste does not require any network permissions and never transmits clipboard content to the internet. Sensitive password managers (1Password, Bitwarden, Keychain) are automatically excluded.
